A proven copper-gold district

The Project lies at the northern margin of the Yilgarn Craton, overlain by the Bryah, Padbury and Yerrida basin system. Four VHMS copper-gold deposits have been discovered in the Bryah Group: DeGrussa, Monty, Red Bore and Horseshoe Lights. DeGrussa, discovered in 2009 and mined from 2012 to 2022, carried a life-of-mine endowment of 14.8 Mt at 4.2% Cu and 1.4 g/t Au and ranked among Australia’s highest-grade copper operations over its ten-year life.
The district also hosts significant orogenic gold systems, including Plutonic, Peak Hill, Trident and Old Highway. Catalyst Metals expects mining to commence at Old , which is adjacent to Gwardar’s E52/4307, in late 2026.

E52/4307 covers Goodin Inlier and has seen no active exploration since 2014, despite sitting adjacent to the Old Highway gold deposit and close to active drilling at the Goodin Fault.

E51/2269 covers prospective but poorly exposed terrane on the southwestern margin of the Goodin Inlier. Decades of surrounding regional exploration have refined the geological picture, but no historical drilling is recorded within the licence area itself.

E51/2187, the largest licence in the portfolio, is crossed by the South Boundary Fault which was interpreted by previous explorers as prospective for base metals where displaced by cross-cutting structures. The Goodins Find area in its northwest corner has yielded coarse nugget gold from historical prospecting, and historical drilling there returned 15 m at 1.36 g/t Au including 6 m at 2.66 g/t Au.
